I am currently serving a prison sentence of 20 yrs to life for murder & have 7 yrs left until I see the parole board; however, I would like to think that I am more than just a burden to society that has to be locked away. I know there is no way to turn back the hands of time & undo the wrongs that have been committed, & this knowledge is a constant reminder to me that encourages me to be a better person everyday, to work harder, and never give up. Since being incarcerated I have earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, & I am currently working hard to obtain a dual Bachelor's Degree in the fields of Literature & Math. When I am not deciphering complicated formulas & intricate plots, I do enjoy some relax reading & by relax reading I mean some good old fashion Dean Koontz type fiction. I also enjoy drawing & painting, listening to all types of music, & cooking. Yes, I do like to cook. For me, cooking is like art where the messy ones can sometimes turn out to be masterpieces. Of course there are other times when I'm stuck with something that is just not fantastic. No prisoner would be complete unless he worked out, & I do. For me, working out is like meditating. The world becomes small & focused. There is nothing but the weights, my body, and my goal for the day, & when I'm done, I walk out of the gym feeling good about myself. I am looking for female responders only who are interested in being friends with the possibility of it developing into something more. I would prefer someone who lives within driving distance but I do have an open mind. After all, you can never really tell where happiness will come from. I don't need anything financially, so please don't worry about that. What I do need is a cure for this overwhelming loneliness tht I feel inside & I believe that the cure is out there s
